Where do they drop to?

I say as long as Notre Dame stays in the top 10, Georgia will be ahead of them.

Poll logic.

There should be a re-evaluation of the strength of both Georgia and ND in light of this result given neither has another high quality win to offset. It’s fair for UGa to remain ahead of ND, but this does call into question whether either should be Top 10. That said, we all know polls don’t re-evaluate past performances, so ND won’t drop if they win. Georgia probably slots only just in front of them, but the recency bias of the polls might drop them lower.

Mike I see Notre Dame winning tonight and since Texas lost, going up to 7th with Georgia dropping to only 6th.

So when Clemson beats South Carolina at the end of the year. it won't be viewed as a quality win yet UGA losing at home to USC didn't hurt them because in the SEC every game is tough.

Clemson already beat Texas A&M also which gave Bama a decent game Saturday.

This one is about ND, not the SEC. If they aren’t going to drop ND, then Georgia still has what looks like the best win by a one-loss team.

Georgia also has a loss to a 2-3 team at home. Certainly not a pretty loss. Its a worse loss than say Oregon’s it appears. Oregon might not have a good win however. But to me Oregon might have a case for being ranked only behind Auburn in the one loss teams, however I haven’t done all The Who lost to whom and who beat whom stuff
