2013 Fantasy Football
I guess I'll christen this forum.
The league I run (Finkle All-Stars) had our draft last night. It's a 12 team league where we're allowed to keep two players each season. Last season I did miserably. I made a trade for Robert Griffin III toward the end of the season but it wasn't enough to keep me from finishing in 10th. I didn't have that great of a selection for keepers and settled on RGIII and Steven Jackson (thank God he's out of St. Louis).
After the dust cleared, my roster ended up like this:
Starters
===
QB: Robert Griffin III (WAS)
RB: Doug Martin (TB)
RB: Steven Jackson (ATL)
WR: Jordy Nelson (GB)
WR: Pierre Garcon (WAS)
TE: Owen Daniels (HOU)
R/W/T: David Wilson (NYG)
K: Greg Zuerlein (STL)
DEF: Cincinnati Bengals
Bench
===
QB: Matthew Stafford (DET)
RB: Danny Woodhead (SD)
WR: Emmanuel Sanders (PIT)
WR: Rueben Randle (NYG)
WR: Cordarrelle Patterson (MIN)
I hoped I would end up with a better corps of receivers but I also wanted to hedge my bets on Griffin's knee, so I ended up taking Stafford at the beginning of the 7th round instead of taking a receiver like T.Y. Hilton, Steve Smith, or James Jones. Still, I was thrilled that Stafford fell that far. Should Griffin turn out to be healthy, Stafford should be a nice player to dangle for some help at receiver.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with how my draft turned out. I was thrilled someone decided not to keep Doug Martin and he ended up back in the draft pool. He should help me do a hell of a lot better than 10th out of 12 this year.

Re: 2013 Fantasy Football
Well, I'm going to get a win in Week 1. I'm currently leading my opponent by 2 points and I've still got Pierre Garcon and Owen Daniels to play tonight while he has nobody left.
I was hoping to see great things from David Wilson last night. Instead I got the opposite. Hopefully he can rebound and still bounce back to be a worthy flex player.

In our league, the guy who has Peyton also has David Wilson. Talk about two guys who were polar opposites for fantasy value. Wilson posted what, a negative 3?
