I had missed this so thanks for posting. Yes, it is sad. So young (considering I am not a lot younger than him). It was a nice thought from Carli Lloyd, interesting as to the fact that he is the reason she chose number 10.

Boy, this really is sad news. Don Baylor will always hold a special place with the Rockies as he was their first manager and actually took them to the playoffs in their third year of existence. I remember him and his ability to lean into pitches to get hit by them. Pitchers really took offense to him doing this. :lol: He was a master at getting hit by the pitch.
