Game 7 tonight and not a post in here?
I know that this place is practically dead, but this has been a fantastic series. At least I think so. Just when you think one team has the edge, the other team takes it. The momentum has swung back and for practically with every game. Right now, it looks like LA has the momentum, which is why Houston will probably win.

LA made a big mistake starting Darvish... he was terrible. Great series and the juiced balls made it very entertaining.

Hindsight is 20-20. It was a fun series. A bit of a disappointing game 7 as compared to the other games. All of the excitement occurred in the first two innings and then is was cruise control from there. All in all, a fun series however. And just as I predicted, Houston won. Just when LA had the momentum.

I just couldn't muster the emotion to care about this series. I'd have chimed in if things were like they were when the site first started and baseball conversation was plentiful, but it's not anymore. Usually, the only time baseball is brought up, is either Cubs (ugh) fans chirping or when the Hall of Fame season comes around (or the occasional Pete "Double UGH" Rose thread).
I intend to live forever... so far, so good.

Many of the "old timers" don't come around anymore.

The baseball crew had some drama that occurred off the site that ultimately led to most of them going their separate ways. There were a few of us that were regulars on both the college football and baseball sites at MSNBC that are still around, but I think Icono and bigearl may be the only ones who were primarily on the baseball site who are still around.

Yea.. would be nice if the old crew would make a return... Mikie could actually relish in the Astros being good! PF10 could finally gloat about the Eagles.

Yeah, I joined here due to my discussion in the baseball forum. I always loved college football and the NFL, but didn't post must if at all in those forums. I don't think I posted in those forums on here until I had been a member for a few years. I miss the old baseball crew. I also miss a lot of the old football posters. Sadly we've lost a few of them. I suspect that there are others that have passed that we just don't know about. If I ever stop posting here for more than a week or two, you will know that I am gone.
