Please sign Avilla so he has a chance for a championship ring.
He is a great defensive catcher who calls a decent game.
He's not a clutch hitter but he would be an asset as your back up catcher this year.

I'm just glad that the Rockies appear to be locked in place for a wild card spot, it's been a long time since they were in post season position. And this is with Cargo and Story providing very little offense. Seattle is also in the running for a wildcard spot. So for me, it's a big improvement over the past dozen or so years.

Hate much?
I rarely watch baseball. It is almost as boring as soccer. I just found it funny as the losing streak for the Cubs kept going they gained more fans. I guess so if they ever finally one they could say I have suffered through all these years when in fact they were a fan for a second.

I am from upstate NY so you know what team I followed when I actually watched baseball. So no need to hate on a Cubs fan when they most successful sports franchise in any US sport is in NY.

Actually, since Pat Bowlen has owned the Broncos, which began in 1983 or so, Denver has the second best record of any professional team, behind only the Lakers. San Antonio is third I believe.

And record doesn't define

Well 1983 didn't start sports in this country. If so Miami would be the most successful college football team of all time. Based on titles. Of course tide with the highest paid team in college football today. Yes I spelled tide that way on purpose.

And record doesn't define winning. Titles do. Ask NE if they care if Broncos have a better winning % then them since 1983. I am sure they would much rather have those additional trophies the Broncos are lacking.
