Houston rumored to be going after Dana Holgerson. Is it just me or does Houston seem to be suffering from delusions of grandeur? Why would a coach go from a P5 to a mid major? Especially one that fires a coach after two years that went 15-11? What does Houston expect? I could see Holgerson leaving for a storied program or a program that is more prestigious but that doesn't include Houston.

I don't for a minute believe that this "decision" was Richt's.

I don't know what the heck they want from a HC.

He won the Conference last year, and played for it this year. ??? I cant believe that they actually expect 10-2 seasons every year.

I think that this is an overreaction to getting blown out by Army in the bowl game. Ignoring the fact that Houston had multiple players out. I think some other mid major will take a shot with Applewhite and I won't be surprised to see him succeed.

Manny took his place. Good hire he has no choice but to bring in a high scoring OC after he was s critical of the offense during the season. Miami offered him 1.5 million to stay as DC and he left

I don't think Richt could take the not being liked and he knew next year would be a disaster if he lost the opening game to Florida. Work is he approached Miami about a resignation and buyout.

What a quick fall from grace. I was at the GT game in 16 in Atlanta. Half the stadium was Miami fans.

Ack! Ththbbthttbt!

There was a lot of noise that Holgerson interviewed for the TTech job. WVU looks to take a step or two back in performance this coming year, so he could be looking to get away before has to take the heat. Or he's bored there. Or he's bad at working the rumor mill for a raise.
