LeBron James:

I feel confident because I'm the best player in the world. It's simple.

... showing an offensive attitude of superiority : proceeding from or characterized by arrogance

This definition doesn't differentiate based on whether it is true or not. In the case of LeBron's statement, "best player in the world" is a subjective characterization and there is no one "true" answer.

Going by the dictionary, I find it hard to discern "an offensive attitude" from Lebron's statement. He was asked if he was worried about the rest of the series and he rested upon his ultimate confidence in himself to refute the notion that he should be scared.

It's arrogant statement and seeing they lost the series makes it moreso.
