LeBron's son getting Scholley offers...

Postby Aloha Nole » February 26th, 2015, 7:34 am

They are reporting on the local news, this morning, that schools are offering LeBron's son (who is 10 years old) scholarships. Lebron is telling them all to knock it off.

First, I think it is absolutely ridiculous for schools to make scholarship offers to kids this young. IMO, even to offer to kids younger than HS juniors is too young.

And second, IMO, if a school offers a scholarship to kids like this, they should be held to those offers. If it turns out that the kid gets hurt and cannot play sports ever again, the school that made the offer should be required to honor that "athletic" scholarship.

If they tie the school to their offers, things like this wouldn't happen.
Petty Officer Marcus Luttrell, author of "Lone Survivor," described Navy Seal Medal of Honor recipient LT Michael Murphy as "An iron-souled warrior of colossal and almost unbelievable courage in the face of the enemy."

I believe it ridiculous that this happens.
