I voted for Boise vs Va Tech. Even though I personally would prefer that the countdown clock consisted of schools that we have members associated with.
Purdue-ND is one. |

| NC ramifications make BSU/VT the game of the weekend, but as I-Mark said, it's more academic than it is compelling, at least to people here. I'll watch the game because I want to see if BSU can take it's first step toward real consideration for the BCSNC game, but it's sorta like going to a class. |

| What, no FAMU-Miami votes? Seriously, I'm going with Boise-VT in hopes that VT falls on their butts to open the season. Although I will say Butch & UNC taking it on the chin is a close second. I'm still looking forward to the FAMU-Miami game more obviously. |

Is that the first time they have faced one another since "the brawl"? |

My bad.
FIU seven years of football is really making that a hot crosstown rival.
0-2 Vs U out scored 58-9. |
Gilbert Cavs team President owns Fathead and he lowered the price on Lebron fathead to $17.41. The significance of 1741 was that was the year Benedict Arnold was born.

I'm a little late to the party, and I know it gives less time for the countdown for the "bigger games" on Saturday to pick a Thursday game....BUT...
Seeing as how this first countdown is essentially countdown to the start of the season, dontcha kinda think we should go with one of the games on the first day of the season...and maybe even the very first game? As of right now, I think the first game scheduled is 6:30pm, Presbyterian at Wake Forest. There are some other at least somewhat interesting games on Thursday as well.
Maybe we should go with a Thursday game and then switch it to the winner of this poll... |

Side note: I also would've liked to see the LSU v. UNC Kickoff Classic in Atlanta as one of the choices.
Call me crazy, but I'm thinking that by the end of the season, the average rank of LSU and UNC will be higher than that of Boise State and Virginia Tech. |

Mark me down as saying Boise St bubble may burst this season. I'm thinking back to 28-21 win where they need some lucky breaks to escape 5-7 Tulsa on the road.
They're different team off the smurf turf and have had some close shaves over the past few years Vs some very medicore teams.
Disagree on LSU with QB issues and Miles being on the hot seat.
I see 7-5 or 8-4 as best case for them this season. |
